ACM is honoured to offer over £130,000 in the form of five exclusive Scholarships.
Alongside our range of higher education bursaries – amounting to £1.2 million per year, we’re proud that ACM is paving the way for affordable education within the creative sector.
Students across ACM’s Performance and Creative Artistry Degree programmes can benefit from both the Academy’s Freddie Mercury and Skunk Anansie Scholarships, with a BASCA (British Association for Songwriters, Composers and Authors) Scholarship also offered for Creative Artist students. Those opting to study Music Production are able to apply for the Music Gateway Scholarship and those on the Business and Innovation and Technical Services pathways can apply for the Keith Lowde Scholarship. With each Scholarship worth up to £27,000, recipients of these Scholarships can look forward to graduating free from tuition fee debt at ACM.
“I’m incredibly proud of the immersive education we offer at ACM and am thrilled to make that offering more accessible than ever before with this range of Scholarships. At ACM ,we welcome students of all backgrounds to pursue their dream of working within the creative industries. It is our aim to build long-lasting sustainable careers for our graduates and we look forward to continuing to do so with our next cohort of students in September.”
Kainne Clements Executive Chairman at ACM
Available at ACM’s three campuses; Guildford, London and Birmingham, applicants are welcome to apply before 16th July for the BASCA Scholarship and 30th July for all other Scholarships.
Alongside our Scholarships, ACM’s higher education bursary is worth up to £2,005 per student and will be awarded once students confirm their place. We’ve run our bursary scheme for the past three years and in this time have noticed a widening of participation across the courses we offer.
“Many students I have spoken to didn’t imagine higher education would be available to them. I recognise that finance can be a barrier to some students so this bursary should help to remove that and enable more students to learn in our real-world environment.”

Recognising that the industry is not always an academic place, we couple on-the-job experience with world-class tuition to create the best of both worlds – where our students graduate with the knowledge, contacts and experience needed to excel in the creative industries. Offering both accelerated and traditional degree programme options, students can choose to fast-track their careers by studying intensively over a two year period, if they so wish.
If you’re passionate about the creative industries, there is still time to apply to ACM. Book on to an ACM Open Day now.
