Scope
1.1. This document outlines the terms and conditions of deposit payment and the circumstances in which ACM can offer a refund to international applicants.
1.2. For the purpose of this document ‘international applicant’ and ‘international student’ refers to an individual who requires a Student visa in order to study in the UK.
Amount of Deposit
2.1. All international applicants are required to pay a deposit of a one-year tuition fee before requesting a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance to Study).
2.2. Fees for international students vary depending on the length of the course:
2.2.1. £17,200 per annum for a 2-year course;
2.2.2. £15,350 per annum for a 3-year course.
Deadline for Deposit payment.
3.1. There is no strict deadline for international applicants to pay their deposit, but it must be done before requesting a CAS from ACM. CAS can be requested no later than a month before the course’s start date.
3.2. CAS can be requested no later than a month before the start date of the course.
3.3. In cases where an international applicant requests to defer the start date of their course and a new deferred offer has been made, the above deadline then applies to that new deferred offer.

4.2.1. The individual Learner ID must be quoted as the payment reference
4.2.2. Not providing the Learner ID as the payment reference may result in
difficulties and delays in the payment being attributed to the applicant’s finance account with ACM.

Cooling-off period.
5.1. If an international applicant cancels their place at ACM in writing within 14 days of signing the contract, they will not be liable for any tuition fees or deposits.
5.2. If an international applicant has paid their deposit before the cancellation meeting the cooling-off period criteria, the deposit will be fully refunded.
Deposit refund.
6.1. The deposit will only be refunded in exceptional circumstances detailed in Table 1 below. The circumstances vary depending on CAS issuance status.
6.2. The deposit may be refunded only if the supporting documents have been provided, in line with Table 1.
